Transfer photos between two Android devices

Transfer photos and videos directly between two Android phones or tablets. Works regardless of the manufacturer — Pixel, Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, etc.

Before you begin

  • Photo Transfer App installed on both devices.
  • Both devices on the same WiFi network.
  • Photos permission granted on each.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Photo Transfer App on both devices.
  2. On the receiver, tap Receive. The list of nearby senders appears here.
  3. On the sender, tap Send → Another device.
  4. Select photos and videos from your gallery.
  5. On the receiver, pick the sender from the discovered list to accept the transfer.

What's preserved

  • Full resolution, EXIF metadata, GPS, capture date.
  • RAW formats preserved.
  • No recompression.
