Family Sharing (iOS)
Photo Transfer App's PRO subscriptions on iOS are eligible for Apple Family Sharing. One person in your family pays; everyone else gets PRO at no extra cost.
How it works
Apple Family Sharing lets up to 5 family members share App Store purchases and subscriptions. When the family organizer (the person whose Apple ID is paying) buys PRO, family members signed in with their own Apple IDs see PRO unlock automatically on their devices.
Setting up Family Sharing
If you don't have Family Sharing set up yet:
- On the organizer's iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Family Sharing → Set Up Your Family.
- Add family members by email or text invitation.
- Make sure Purchase Sharing is turned on (this is what shares App Store buys).
Activating PRO for a family member
- The organizer buys Photo Transfer App PRO (any plan — monthly, yearly, lifetime — Apple Family Sharing applies to all of them).
- On the family member's iPhone or iPad, open Photo Transfer App.
- Go to the PRO screen and tap Restore purchases.
- PRO unlocks for that family member.
What Family Sharing does NOT do
- It does not share your photos or transfer history between family members. Each person's Photo Transfer App still works with their own photo library.
- It does not work across stores. PRO bought from the App Store can't be shared with someone on the Google Play Store, and vice versa.
What about Google Play family library?
Some Android PRO plans support Google Play family library. Check the in-app paywall on Android — if the plan you're buying supports family library, it'll say so.
