Back up photos to Flickr

Photo Transfer App PRO can upload photos and videos directly from your phone to your Flickr account. Transfers go straight to Flickr over the internet — no Photo Transfer server in between, no copy of your files on our end.

Before you begin

  • A Flickr account.
  • Photo Transfer App PRO on your phone (see What's included in PRO).
  • Your phone connected to the internet.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Photo Transfer App on your phone.
  2. Tap Send -> Cloud.
  3. From the destination chooser, pick Flickr.
  4. Select the photos and videos you want to back up.
  5. Tap Send now.
  6. If this is your first time, you'll be sent to Flickr's authorization page in your phone's browser. Sign in and tap OK, I'll Authorize It. You're then returned to the app.
  7. Select the destination folder in your Flickr account.
  8. Tap Upload now. Files upload directly to your Flickr account.

What's preserved

  • Full original resolution.
  • EXIF metadata, GPS, capture date.
  • HEIC stays as HEIC; ProRAW / DNG stay as RAW.
